Outputs depend entirely on the inputs you provide and the assumptions baked into the formula. Real returns, real tax bills and real loan outcomes will differ. You alone are responsible for the financial decisions you take after using a calculator. Please verify every number with a qualified financial advisor, chartered accountant or SEBI registered investment advisor before making any decision involving real money.
Not a company
RunwayCalc is not a registered company, partnership, LLP or other business entity. It is a free public resource built and maintained by an individual in their spare time. There is no team, no office and no commercial agenda. References to 'we' on the site are stylistic; all responsibility for the site rests with the individual operator.
Accuracy and updates
I work to keep slabs, rates, surcharge bands, cess values and notified scheme rates current. Indian financial regulation changes through Budget announcements, CBDT circulars, EPFO notifications and PFRDA orders. There may be a short window between a notification and the corresponding update on the site. While I strive for accuracy, I do not warrant that every number is current at every moment. Always cross check against the official source and a qualified advisor.

No warranty
The site is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability and non infringement are disclaimed. There is no guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error free, secure or free of viruses or other harmful components.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the operator of RunwayCalc be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data, business opportunity or goodwill arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site or any calculator on it. You expressly agree that any financial decision you take based on output from this site is your own decision, and you are solely responsible for its consequences. Total aggregate liability arising from your use of the site is limited to one hundred Indian rupees.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the site in any way that is unlawful, harmful or disruptive. Specifically, you will not attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, scrape the site at a rate that affects other users, redistribute calculators in a manner that misrepresents the source, or remove copyright and attribution notices from any page.
Reasonable, attributed reuse of educational content with a clear link back to the source page on RunwayCalc is encouraged, particularly for journalism, classroom teaching and personal blogs.
Intellectual property
All original content on the site, including the calculator interface design, written explanations, images, brand marks and the underlying source organisation, is the property of the site operator and is protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. The financial formulae themselves are not proprietary and remain in the public domain. Their implementation, presentation and the surrounding educational copy are the protected work product of the site.
Third party links
Some pages may link to third party sites such as government portals, regulatory bodies or reputable news sources. Those sites are not controlled by RunwayCalc and the operator is not responsible for their content, policies or practices. A link is not an endorsement.
Changes to these terms
These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with a revised last updated date. Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These Terms and any dispute arising from your use of the site are governed by the laws of India. Indian courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
