Calculator inputs stay on your device
Every calculator on RunwayCalc runs entirely in your browser using client side JavaScript. When you type your salary, your monthly SIP, your loan amount, your rent or your tax deductions, those numbers are computed locally and shown back to you on the same screen. They are never transmitted to any server and never stored. There is no way for me to retrieve what you entered.
If you close the tab, the inputs disappear. No account is required to use any calculator on the site.
What is collected
Basic analytics about which pages are visited, how long the page took to load, device and browser category, approximate country or region, and similar aggregate usage signals. This is used to decide which calculator to build next and to spot performance regressions.
Server logs maintained by the hosting provider may contain your IP address for a short retention window, used only for security and abuse prevention.
What is not collected
Names, email addresses, phone numbers, PAN, Aadhaar or any other personal identifier are not collected on any calculator page. Calculator inputs are not sent to RunwayCalc, Google Analytics or Google AdSense. Visitor data is never sold, rented or shared by RunwayCalc.
If you choose to write to poornaprakashsr@gmail.com, your email address will be visible. It is used only to reply, and is never added to any marketing list.
Cookies
RunwayCalc stores your theme preference, language preference and privacy choice in your browser so the site can remember them between visits. These values do not contain calculator inputs.
Google Analytics and Google AdSense may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or other identifiers to measure usage, serve ads, prevent abuse and comply with their own policies. You can choose essential-only mode from the privacy banner or footer privacy settings link. You can also clear cookies and site data from your browser settings at any time.
Third party services
Google Analytics is used to understand aggregate site usage. Google AdSense is used to support the free calculators with advertising. Google may place and read cookies on your browser or use web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers as part of analytics and ad serving. The site uses fonts hosted by Google Fonts. By loading a font, your browser establishes a connection to Google's font CDN, which may log the request. I have no control over those logs. If you prefer to avoid this, browser extensions that block external font loading work without breaking the site.
Charts are rendered using Chart.js, which runs entirely in your browser without contacting any external server.
Advertising choices
RunwayCalc does not ask you to click ads and does not provide any reward for ad interaction. Ads, when shown, are intended to be separate from calculator buttons, form fields, navigation and export actions.
If you choose essential-only mode, RunwayCalc asks Google services to deny analytics and advertising storage through Google Consent Mode. Some non-personalized or limited processing may still occur where required for security, fraud prevention, frequency capping or legal compliance.
Data security
Standard web security practices are followed. The site is served over HTTPS, dependencies are kept current, and the smallest possible surface is exposed to the internet. Because calculator inputs and personal data are not stored, the practical impact of a breach is small.
Children
RunwayCalc is intended for users above the age of eighteen. No data from children is knowingly collected. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the contact email, write to poornaprakashsr@gmail.com and it will be deleted promptly.
Not a company, not financial advice
RunwayCalc is not a registered company. It is a personal project built by an individual. The calculators do not constitute financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Please verify all numbers with a qualified financial advisor before making any decision involving real money.
Changes to this policy
If material changes are made to this Privacy Policy, the updated version will be published on this page with a revised last updated date. Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
